My middle-schoolers have been enjoying a Physics class that they’ve been taking during their Friday co-op class.  This was a class that they didn’t want to take, just because the name “Physics” sounded so frightening…but they LOVE it. They have been experimenting with such concepts as inertia, velocity, Newton’s third law of motion…and more.

In speaking with their teacher, I found out that most of the materials she was using came from a Rocket-themed guide that she had once ordered from NASA, for free. Wondering if the material might be available for download on the web, I went searching — and sure enough, it IS!

In fact, NASA has a complete section of their site dedicated to materials for educators: Check it out!  NASA – Educators
