The Health Goals – Diet & Weight

What I am about to post is not easy for me. I am just seconds away from revealing some very personal information to the entire internet (which is estimated to be comprised of 1,091,730,861 people). That personal information consists of my weight and measurements.
Just a small disclaimer. Once upon a time, in a land far-far-away; a land known as Life-Before-Nine-Consecutive-Pregnancies, I was small and kind of cute. I weighed a mere 98 pounds, sported a tiny little waist, and wore a size 3 in Juniors clothing. But some sort of bizarre forces of nature began to change the whole shape of things as I started my travels through new territories. I began to notice these changes during my stay in the land of Just-Had-Baby-Number-Two-And-Am-Already-Expecting-Number-Three. Things have never been the same since; with each new stop on my journey bringing about even more change.
These changes have consisted of such things as the shrinkage of clothing, the widening of the derriere, and the sudden appearance of an unsightly roll on my belly, caused by the skin being stretched out and popped back, stretched out and popped back…nine times. After a while rubber bands tend to lose their elasticity and stop popping back. The same is true for abdominal flesh and muscle, I am afraid.
Anyway, now, while camping out in the land of Life-After-Nine-Consecutive-Pregnancies, I have come to the terrifying realization that time (and Haagen-Dazs) has not been good to me. Size 3 has given way to size 10. Ninety-eight pounds has become one-hundred-thirty-seven pounds. We won’t even discuss the waist size. *Sigh* It took 16 years to cause the damage; how long will it take to repair the damage? (Unfortunately, I don’t quite have access to Cher’s resources.)
Here comes the painful part of my post, acknowledging my current measurements, and goals. I will begin with my measurements as they were, last summer, before I began a quest to a healthier lifestyle through the Whole Food Farmacy, along with a regular sensible diet and routine exercise (I was doing well until October of this year, when I slipped back into my old habits).

Eating Goals:
Month 1:
Since I have previously had GREAT success with the Whole Food Farmacy products, I will begin my journey there again. I plan to do the Liquithon first, in order to totally detoxify my system so I can get a fresh start. This will begin on Tuesday, January 2, and last through January 16.
I will take a “break” from my diet for a delayed birthday celebration (mine) on January 17, hoping to eat Mexican food and chocolate cake.
January 18 will be a complete fasting day (water only), then I will eat 19th century fare on January 18-21 (Civil War re-enactment weekend).
For the remaining ten days of January, and first day of February, I will eat only foods from the Liquithon and from the Tri-Decathalon.
Water:
My goal is to drink at least 70oz. of water per day.
Exercise:
Taking it slowly, beginning in month one, my goals are to walk at least 15 miles per week, to work out for at least four hours per week, and to hoop for at least 2 hours per week.

Proud of you! I wonder, though, how you find time to fit in any exercise. I worked out at a gym all the time for years – before kids. At the most, I can fit in some walking time in the morning before the kids are up and before hubby leaves for work. But I’m hoping to use that time for some QT with God.
How do you plan to get the exercise in?
