CHRISTmas Blessings

It is always amazing just what blessings we receive. I want to take the time right now to publicly thank the One from whom all blessings flow. Thank you God!

Last week when the children and I were delivering Christmas cards and cookies to the neighbors, one of the neighbors gave us a card in return…containing a Visa gift card for $100 and instructions for us to all have a night out together. What a blessing! We were able to take the children out to Tia's restaurant and to a movie — something that we don't usually get to do in a large family.

When we opened up the card that my Grandma sent for Christmas, it contained a $50 bill with instructions to use it to buy Christmas dinner. It paid for our roast.

Last night, the same neighbor who gave us the gift card, sent home lots of Christmas leftovers to us.

Our new neighbors that just moved in this month brought over an electric train set as a Christmas gift to our children.

A friend of ours, a lady we met at the beach and befriended, showed up on Christmas Day with a bag of gifts for the children.

Today, in the mail, came an anonymous Christmas card containing a $300 Wal-mart gift certificate!

My dear friend Kim sent us a Christmas tree earlier this month.

Someone anonymously left us a Publix gift card at church a few weeks ago.

We have a precious new son this Christmas.

I had the privilege of seeing several of my children think of others this year and give very unselfishly.

Isn't God good?!

Wow! What wonderful blessings!!! I think it should also tell you that you must be doing a great job raising dear children that are so loved by neighbors and friends…and you’re not so bad yourself, I bet!

God is SO good and I just love it when He really showers His blessings so obviously.

Hello again. Thank you for the post on my blog. I too suffered from seasonal depression and really bad PMS symptoms. I don’t know if you can “medically” prove that moving to Florida and being in the sun ALOT has helped, but my DH will tell you I’m a totally different person here- for the better.

Would love to chat maybe via email with you – as fellow Floridians ;-) – feel free to email me. MClagett@cfl.rr.com

Have another wonderful Florida-Christ filled day!
