It’s that time of year again: time for Masque Community Theatre’s summer youth play!
Director Ruth Kegel did it again – she took a simple script and, with the help of an amazing production team, transformed it into a masterpiece; adding lots of humor, song, dance numbers, and even some tumbling to showcase the talents of 60 young Tampa Bay area children and teens. All on a small budget and in a borrowed space (while Masque’s permanent home is in the process of being rebuilt).
If you live in the Tampa Bay area, you won’t want to miss this show! The third and final weekend of shows is coming up, Aug 12-14.

Masque Theatre Presents:
Cinderella
Book & Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II
Music by Richard Rodgers
July 29 – August 14, 2011
The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance. With familiar musical numbers such as “The Prince Is Giving A Ball,” “In My Own Little Corner,” and “Do I Love You Because You’re Beautiful,” the hearts of children and adults alike still soar when the slipper fits.
