My Pride and Joy

Bad news regarding Audrey. She was Baker-acted again yesterday after hitting her 10-year-old brother in the head with a pan. :( The doctors are once again trying to adjust her meds. Two steps forward, one step back. Continued prayers appreciated.

This is what happens when you allow your children to watch the movie Flushed Away. (If you haven’t seen it, the cute little singing slugs *make* the movie — but the result is two little girls finding a slug and begging their mother to allow them to keep it…for “a pet”.)

No real purpose to this photo, except that I think it is an adorable image of my two baby boys. Yes, the little one is indeed a boy. I know in my last Wordless Wednesday post, everyone assumed he was a she, but I can assure you he is all boy! We dress him in a 19th century reproduction infant gown for the Civil War reenactments to be “period correct”. Back then boys wore dresses until they were potty-trained. (I believe if things were still that way, Dads would take a much more active role in the potty-training process).

  1. I’ll be keeping you and your daughter in my prayers.

Loved all the cute photos! The snail one is a hoot. We just watched that movie the other night and the slugs are funny.

Don’t you think if the boys were brought up in dresses like that – that’s what TRULY made the MEN – being in touch with their feminine side.. LOL..
